Re: Dr. Tony Xia.
The guy is trying to keep us informed, so naturally things will change between intention and completion. Would we rather he shut up about the day to day hopes and happenings, or can we accept that there's many a slip between trying to do a deal and ITSOTP.

Now we have to wait and see whether he's done enough to get us towards the top of the league. It's over to our manager and coaches to take over and do the business from here.

I'm still concerned by how Xia seems to be a bit of a loose cannon, though.

Re: Dr. Tony Xia.
I expect that Dr T will be less vocal now that the first key stage of his ownership has been dealt with. I don't ever see him taking a back seat though. If results are disappointing by the time we reach November/December, I'm sure we'll hear plenty from him.Sandie wrote:I think you can't fault the owner for the level of backing he has given the owner. Where things will stand or fall will be with the manager's choice of players and how they are deployed.

I think the Doctor has got almost everything right so far but he has made one big mistake - Roberto Di Matteo. He can't dither, he now has his first big test as owner. Get it wrong and he could lose a lot of good will.
