Will we continue our good run in this one?

Would like to see Davis and Hogan start if possible.

Wrong message to Hogan. He needs to play off Davis holding the ball up. It will become a dangerous partnership if it's allowed to flourish.

Bree is unlucky not to get a start.

A manager has three jobs on match day.

1) pick the best available eleven players in their right positions.

2) Set the team up to play to their strengths.

3) Make timely substitutions to affect the result.

Bruce failed miserably again.

Bristol City have a couple of decent players, but on paper we were the better team. I'm starting to sound like a damaged gramophone record but one man is holding us back.

We conceded yet another poor goal too.

I'm convinced that Bruce's "lack of sleep due to his fear of losing" (quote from Wyness recently) is affecting team performances. His attempts at setting up "because Bristol are a very difficult team to play against" are becoming bizarre and are evidence of his growing phobia.

Why can he not see that we have a better squad than most of these teams and set out to do what suits us best?

This two weeks international break should have been a respite in which to introduce a new positive manager, instead it's just another couple of weeks in which SB can worry about the impending threat of Brentford with Dean Smith at the helm.

If that's an accurate quote it speaks volumes about why things are not going as well as they could be. It's this pressure and this fear of losing that works against us. Cardiff are top of the league and I bet that's because Neil Warnock and his players believe in what they are doing and how it's working. I presume against Norwich that hadn't transmitted through to Davis amongst our players.

That's a good point Sandie. Davis, O'hare (when he plays) and Onomah appear to play with a freedom that has yet to be tainted by the negative fear factor. It must be a limiting factor.
