QPR at Villa Park tonight. Another must win match and it should be doable. 2-1 to Villa.

It's an unchanged side. Let's hope that key players remain fit. C'mon you Villa boys!

Goal down early on. Case of after the lord mayor's show?

So disappointing. We played into QPR's hands by having one tactic .... get the ball wide and try to hit crosses. QPR dominated in the air and punished us on the break. The switch to 3-5-2 produced the same result as it always does .... nothing. Play offs for us now.

I've always said that we would have to settle for the play offs, so I can't be disappointed.

The big question is ...."Can we take the pressure of three consecutive 'Cup Final' games without buckling"?

It's match day again. I'm still hugely disappointed about the lack of intelligence displayed in our 3-1 defeat by QPR. If Ian Holloway can turn up at Villa Park and be tactically more astute than Steve Bruce then we might as well accept that we're a bunch of decent enough players without coherent leadership, and as such are destined to fall short.

This "pull on your boots and go out there and find a way to win" tactic has let us down every time we get into a decent position. Bolton are a poor team, but their manager Phil Parkinson will know all about "Brucie football".

We should win, but I hate all this hit and hope stuff starting with Johnstone lumping the ball. It's Brucie football and it pees me off!

We're 1-0 down at half time. Our players are obviously better than theirs, so let's get it down and play through them. If we do they'll be a man or two short before we finish because they play the man not the ball.

We have to stop lumping the ball up the pitch, because it nullifies our superior ability on the floor.

First you take off both your wingers, your providers, your assisters. Then you put four strikers on the pitch at the same time, with no one to play the ball into them .... What is that all about?

That performance was about as clueless and half arsed as you can get!

Currently on my way to Hull. Hopefully I'll see the same kind of Villa side I saw the last time I went to the game rather than what has been seen in the past two games.

I hope the team treat you to a good match day experience Sandie. I keep saying that we have to win, but now I'm more relaxed and have settled for getting enough points for a top six play off place.

I'll be interested to hear your thoughts about the game Sandie. How do we get back to winning ways?

We play Reading tonight at Villa Park. We should win because we've got better players than them, but will we play as a team, and more importantly .... Are our balls big enough??????

We've just beaten an awful Cardiff with an equally bad Villa performance, only we had Jack and they didn't. Sublime volley! Johnstone was my man of the match though.

Friday 13th and we're playing Leeds at Villa Park tonight. Leed's defence has been decimated by injury and they're in a bad run of form. It should be easy right? Seriously, we have to beat them to retain confidence going into the play offs. Defeat is unacceptable!
Still niggled by the date though.

Ipswich away on a (so far) sunny day. I'm forecasting a narrow win for Villa, but my attention will be on Fulham winning and Cardiff and Middlesboro losing. That would be a good day!
