Non-Villa Games Thread
My unhappiness at today's result has been tempered somewhat by both Chelsea and Liverpool losing today. Anybody else think that Mourinho will be gone before Christmas?

Re: Non-Villa Games Thread
Mourinho is being ruled by his own arrogance at the moment. He's stifling his talented players as individuals, to fit his vision of how to win a game. I suppose you could say that Rodgers is doing the same thing in his own quieter way. He's continuing to impose a system of 'Rodger's' style football on players who are good enough to play more expansively.Sandie wrote:Thought it was worth a thread for other club's games. Doesn't matter what division it's in, what games have caught your eye?

As for Brenda, I've never been sure of him. At one point, I actually thought we had a better manager in Shambert. Of course that could just mean I'm a poor judge of managers rather than Rodgers being useless.

As for Andre Ayew, anybody else starting to wonder if we signed the wrong brother?

Cracking second half from Swansea along with great passion from the supporters and players, never stopped moving the ball forward and always looking to get that third goal. Well done Swansea!

The FA and Media will both be pleased that it adds interest to an otherwise difficult to hype game, now that we've qualified.Morddred wrote:Rooney taken off before he can break the record, might add a few bums on seats to the next home game.

I know it looked bad, but don't you think he made it a lot harder for himself by trying to stay loyal, when common sense should have told him that it was an offer he couldn't refuse. A less Villa orientated player would have left without too much hassle. (Imo)Morddred wrote:As with a lot of unpopular players, it's not that he left its the way he did it.
