So we're back in action tomorrow, will it be a step nearer a P45 for our beleaguered manager or a, at least temporary, reprieve?

Jedinak is back in training and may feature and there are also a couple of youth players in contention so there may be some changes.

I had to chuckle about the Norwich thread popping up on the end of the Leeds thread. How did that happen Sandie?

A phone related mishap. There should be a way to split them on the full site.

Hutton playing very poorly evidently but surprise surprise we have a Brucie bonus .... midfield players are being allowed to venture into the opposition half! Let's hope a half time team talk doesn't put a stop to that.

I said Hourihane would be key this season but why has he struggled to get in under Bruce?

According to the radio commentary Hourihane was playing further forward with the shackles off. He also had players supporting his higher position for the first time. There were two occasions in this game when Bruce tried to revert to type and pull players back behind the ball, and we nearly let Norwich back in both times. Bruce was out of his comfort zone today, but he must have breathed a huge sigh of relief at the final whistle.

It's a shame but ordinary Villa fans actually know more about how to put Villa right than Bruce does.

In happier matters, good to see André Green finally get a goal, hopefully will improve his confidence in front of goal. Also good to see Keinan Davis get a game. I saw him against Brighton and thought he showed promise as a physical forward something borne out yesterday. Would like to see the guy get more chances to play whilst we wait for Kodjia to come back.
