Will be on Monday night so it's time to start believing it's our year for the cup. As ever, I find myself hoping for someone crap at home. Salford City are still just in, so I'd take them or Hartlepool at Villa Park.

I hope we go out first round, because of the correlation between winning cups and relegation!

I hope we give a chance to our U21's for this match. Cup matches against division two sides can involve a fair bit of clogging, and we simply can't afford key injuries.

I wonder if our youths and fringe players are much worse than our first team?

They're probably about on a par with Wycombe, so they're not far away from our first teamers. Very Happy

All joking aside, even though they beat Derby last night, and had a number of our senior players available, Derby were the better "team". They outworked us and outplayed us as a unit for long stretches of the game. It really makes me wonder whether our coaching is still sub standard.
