Forgot we had this one in the excitement of the past week.

Would like to see a few rested to keep them fresh for the Throstles next weekend but still expect a 3-0 Villa win.

With Man City up next for the winners, I would like to see some of our young lads on the pitch and having a real go. We cannot afford injuries to key players with three winnable games coming up.

I'll go for a 2-1 win.

Gabby, N'zogbia, Grealish, Hutton (if he's fit again) should all run their collective arses off in this one along with the kids.

Some of those should be involved though Gabby and Grealish seem to be well and truly out of the picture or still suffering whatever injury or illness it was that took them out of the picture.

I'd also like to see Lyden involved and think Kozak should stay in the team as I think it's important for him to build match fitness.

Lyden's a good battling midfielder. He's a leader even at his young age. Gabby and Grealish are both in full training, but Remi appears to find them lazy. I'd like to see Kozak rested because he put a lot into the two matches last week. I know he hasn't played much football, but I'd love to see him full of energy at the Baggies, and to hell with it .... play three strikers and frighten them to death!Aston Villa V Wycombe: Tuesday 19th January at 19:45 205019816

It was an unsubtle tactic but it certainly borne fruit against Leicester and Gil is starting to look a bit lightweight, would be nice to see the front three against West Broms aging defence.

Sanchez tweeting that 'it's good to be back' so assume he might be ready for this one. I'd prefer not to see him against West Brom but can we afford his regular turning over of possession against Wycombe?

I'd rather see Sanchez play than Westwood.

But is it a coincidence that we've had two good results whilst Sanchez has been out? He had a brief period where he was doing well but more recently has been giving the ball away too often and resembling a Colombian Nigel Reo Coker.

On Tuesday night, I would like to see Lyden play but wouldn't be surprised to see Sanchez get the nod.

I think Veretout needs to be rested tomorrow, his game is all about energy, and he's so important for the Baggies game. That would mean that both Lyden and Sanchez can start. I know Sanchez gives the ball away a lot, but there's a good player in there somewhere.

I agree, just not sure how often we see that good player.

He's too careless in possession, but he breaks up play well and can pick a pass when he concentrates. I think the pace of the Premier continues to throw him off his stride.

It's difficult to get excited about a meaningless match. We got to the final last season and it did us no favours. Our confidence was destroyed and we played like plums. It gave the world a quick peek at the rubbish to come from Villa.

I'll try to become a bit more upbeat between now and kick off time .... It may involve alcohol. Aston Villa V Wycombe: Tuesday 19th January at 19:45 48398843 Aston Villa V Wycombe: Tuesday 19th January at 19:45 205019816 Aston Villa V Wycombe: Tuesday 19th January at 19:45 48398843

It's the same problem tonight, losing to Wycombe would be a massive blow to our players confidence at the point it's just recovering. An unwanted distraction, yes but one we really need to win.
