Been the better side from what I've seen so far (missed the first 10 minutes) let's see if anything comes of it.

My grandchildren came round after 15 minutes of the match and took over my computer (again). Still I don't think there was anything we needed to discuss apart from Remi Garde's terrible body language. Arms tight folded, lips pursed and the occasional gallic shrug which seemed to say "Merde ..... it's nothing to do with me gaffer!" I saw Reggie Ray trying to gee him up just before Green came on, but Remi was lost in his misery. Not a good display by RG.

Oh, and we lost again of course.

The fact he brought Gabby on again tells us everything we need to know. I turned it off in disgust at that point.

Swansea were awful, and wouldn't have beaten any other Premier team today .... good job for them they were playing us .... sad isn't it.

Swansea knew that they just had to bide their time until our inevitable mistakes and collapse and Cissokho and Guzan obliged. You don't really need to be good to beat this Villa team you just need to let nature take its course.

Remi Garde is so far out of his depth with this lot, that he's drowning on the touchline. I can't wait until this season ends.

Same here. I've felt desperate for it to end for months but it needn't be as tortuous as Garde has made it.

After a night sleeping on it I haven't changed my mind. There's no point to watching another match with Remi sat with his arms folded, and obviously wishing to be anywhere in the world instead of at another Villa debacle. I expect him to "leave by mutual agreement" in the next 24 hours.

I think he'll hang on to the end of the season. That said, I increasingly would be happy enough to see him go and even someone come in in the interim.

I don't think he should or will last until the end of the season. His demeanour and body language is bringing the whole place even further down than it needs to be. Watching Remi in the last week or so is almost like intruding on someone's personal grief. It's awkward and embarrassing and needs to be ended straight away.
