The Nightmare is nearly over... Arsenal V Aston Villa
I have a funny feeling about this game. I think we might get something from it. I know, I know...

We know approximately the players that Black will pick, so it will be predictable and it wont be a stellar performance. Arsenal on the other hand will be desperate to pick up all three points in case Spurs slip up against Newcastle. Can you imagine the Gunners fans reaction if Spurs lose and we somehow get something out of the game? Wenger would have some explaining to do.
Arsenal 3 - Villa 1.

Obnoxious Lion wrote:I agree Sandie I also think we will get something from this game, it's been nearly 10 years since Lerner brought us back in August 2006 and ironically his first game in charge was Arsenal at the brand new Emirates stadium, it ended 1-1 on the day.......Let's just hope we can get a similar result and Lerner announces the official goodbye statement and pray that he has kept his word.
Going for a DRAW.
I was about to post that OL (good to see you post by the way) Lerner started his reign against Arsenal and will very likely end it against them. I can't see past a drubbing to be honest. I think Arsenal will want to finish as strongly as possible and we'll offer little resistance if they score early. I'd like to think Black might play a few youngsters (Grealish, Lyden, Hepburn Murphy) but the likelihood is he won't. So 4-0 Arsenal, unless we somehow avoid conceding in the first half.
Can't wait for it to be over now and for our new future to start with whoever it is that's buying us

That starts next week.
The match today against Arsenal is an irrelevance for us, although it's important to our opponents. Let's hope the fans have a good day out and we end our long tenure in the Premier League with our supporter's reputation further enhanced.
It will probably be a repeat of last year"s Cup Final, so I'll say 4-0 although win lose or draw I'm not actually bothered. Let's get it over with.

Another tepid defeat beckons. I'm sure Black will stick to the tried, tested and failed formula and we'll see a comfortable win for Arsenal.
Hope the away fans have a good old party and send us off with a little style off the pitch!!
Then into the small matter of the sale of the club...

Exactly what we would expect sums up Black's reign.
I'm looking at it this way, this will bring about the end of the season and that's what needs to happen in order to get sold and do all the things needed to get us prepared for next season. Let the fun commence.
