When I swapped yo Virgin from sky it was a nightmare, they tried to make it as hard as possible, ended up with compensation from them due to them taking too big a final payment.

West Ham can't get any momentum & the Tesco Bags are dhocking as well.

Good to see Marc Albrighton doing so well in the Champions League for Leicester.

Less good to think we let him go for nothing.

Marc was a favourite of mine. I watched him come through the Academy, and he could cross a ball like Beckham. Sadly we've always had managers who believe that if players are home grown then they can't be good enough. That envy of other club's players and disregard for our own, has cost us dearly over the years. Gary Cahill out Zat Knight in, for example .... what was that all about?

I was another big fan of Albrighton, seems strange to think that at least a vocal minority of our support seemed happy to see him go. It's not just losing a good player that grieves me but doing so for free. Bruce made a similar point last week in relation to Barry Bannan.

Both Bannan and Albrighton could do things which our other players struggled to do. Gil, Traore and Veretout were also "different" and were treated almost like freaks.

It seems unless you're a grafter and get your foot in, your face doesn't fit in the Villa team.
