Let's be honest, none of us would have been dumb enough to start with that team. Why do people who have been in football for years, have terminal brain fade when they're put in charge of the Villa team? It's unbelievable!

We've known for weeks that the only way out of this huge mess was to attack for 90 minutes and pray for luck. All except the idiots who pick and prepare our team. Black was still talking about everyone helping not to concede as late as yesterday. I said at the time that it was obvious he was going to play yet another defensive team.

Eric Black also said that he wanted to give the fans their pride back. Are you having a laugh?

The only defensible reason is that he wanted those players to get some stick. Surely he can tell from the fans reaction to them that players like Lescott, Richardson, Guzan and Bacuna have passed the point of return with the fans as a consequence of their stupid behaviour and low standard of performance?

I would like to think you were on to something, but this article shows that he thought this was our best team and he was pleased with the set up of the players! We lose for the 11th time at Villa Park this season and he's "happy with their effort and desire to do what we asked them to do". He's not living on the B6 planet is he?
