Not the best side he could have picked (by a long way) though I suppose at least Black is making changes from the last XI.

Just what do they feed the managers down at BMH? Certainly not courage. Garde and now Black, both fearful of losing when there is really nothing to lose.....
I think at this stage though (for balance) any XI put out, will yield the same kind of meek surrender.
Part of me just wants this over now. Put us out of our misery and allow us to crack on with planning for next season. I see us losing 0-1 and a toxic atmosphere (again) at VP.

Nine defenders against the mighty Bournemouth at Villa Park for goodness sake! Is this our best team with all the squad fit apart from "poorly" Gabby and long term Amavi? Really!
Only sense I can possibly make if it (and this is being very generous) is he's picked a side that A. He feels can handle the toxic atmosphere and B. Have all trained hard. You're right though, when you having nothing to lose, you throw everything at it and we've failed to do that time and time again. We will gewt what we deserve ultimately. Never have I seen such a spineless bunch of players wear the Claret and Blue.

What are they scared of? Black is saying right now that he wants to 'give us something to cheer on' and 'change our minds' but doesn't seem to be going the right way about it. Starting to wonder whether he's trying to send the players a message? Gabby aside you could argue that all the poor performers are present today so maybe he's put that team out there to get a harsh reception having grown fed up with how badly they've been performing since he came in? I wouldn't blame him if he was doing that and I can't really think of any other reason to pick Richardson who got a very hostile reception.
