If our international players can avoid injury I'll be a happy man. That's my sole interest in International breaks at the moment. A few little taps on Everton players wouldn't go amiss though. Nothing serious ..... just enough to miss the next Premier match. Non-Villa Games Thread - Page 6 3640643743

I'll probably watch the first half in the absence of anything better to do.

As a neutral, I find England boring to watch.

So far so crap.

Still better than watching Children in Need.

Delph is probably England's most composed player. I like the guy, unlike 99% of Villa fans.

He's a good player, serpentine behaviour aside.

Shame that an English player of such quality is seeing so little action for his club.

First time we play a decent team we come up short. It just shows how meaningless the Euro qualifying games were.

Are football stadiums the next soft targets for ISIL terrorists attacks, or can security be put in place to 100% detect explosives and weapons? Do you feel comfortable going to stadia in the light of Friday's horrific attacks?

I think they've probably always been something that terrorists might want to target (thousands of people, live TV coverage) but for whatever reason there hasn't (to the best of my knowledge) been an attack on a western football stadium.

To alter your own behaviour on the grounds of fearing a terrorist attack is, for me, letting the terrorists win. An attack could happen anywhere and if you fear them then you end up in a situation that you won't go into a city centre or get on a plane or so on. And it's not like they are a regular or likely occurrence.

I agree with what you say as an individual, but I have to be honest .... I would think long and hard before taking my grandchildren to a game until I see the evidence that security is able to deal with such threats. This may sound racist, but we are based in a multi ethnic area which is bound to cause visual tension in and around the ground during a period which is going to produce more harrowing incidents throughout Europe (imo).

Dele Alli looks a decent player for a 19 year old. Shame we didn't get serious when we made an approach for him.

Never really much liked Spurs but in complete fairness to them they've done really well in bringing through (Kane) and finding (Dier, Alli) young English talent.

City 0-3 Liverpool.

Klippety Klopp starting to have an impact?

In other news, Real getting taught a lesson by Barca.
