Back in action on Saturday and we will face Blackburn who sit in second last position in the Championship table. Before we set our hopes too high we're nearer them than we are the playoffs. They've also picked up in recent weeks and have what looks to be a decent striker in Sam Gallagher.

What expectations do we have and what changes ought to be rung?

My prediction is a 2-1 Villa win.

I think we'll win, but I'm intrigued to find out how we're going to play. We can't do what Bruce has done in the last three games, because Blackburn are there to be taken if we get it right.

If we do sit back and look to counter attack against a poor side, what kind of game will it be?

A Villa win, but I haven't got a clue about the score.

Should Grealish come straight back in (tummy depending) following his suspension?

A win. Surely?

Blackburn may have picked up recently but so have we.

Dunno about Grealish. I'd say the jury is out on him. No to the Dubai Kid though.

Gabby does not deserve another chance, and if he hangs around on the bench he's going to block any chance that Hepburn - Murphy has of getting involved. We need to convince RHM that he should sign a new contract as he's only got a few months left. Gabby's presence is a major stumbling block to the way the young man sees his future.

I want to sit down on Saturday evening and reflect on a match that was all about a dominant Villa playing an overwhelmed Blackburn team off the park.

I was of the same opinion right up until recent weeks favouring Ayew as an option but he's been poor lately so I'd be considering bringing Grealish in.

Grealish looked like he was starting to believe he was strong enough as well as good enough a few weeks ago. When he gets his chance I expect a strong performance from him.

To be honest, I was actually thinking he was quite poor following his return from his club suspension. He was great up until that and had taken a far more considered, all-round role on the pitch even covering the fullback.

He wont get a better opportunity than tomorrow to show us what he's got .... if he's selected.

I suppose we're heading back towards that direction now having actually started to win games.

How long has it been since we've picked up a convincing win over someone? Rotherham back at the start of the season? I didn't see a kick of that one and how long ago was it before that?

I can't remember the last time we knew we'd got the match won well before the end of a game. That would be a really nice feeling.

Indeed, but I'm convinced this will be a narrow victory maybe with more possession than we have become accustomed to.
