Every year Lerner has manufactured an excuse as to why he can't spend. This year he doesn't have to make leaving speeches, or shout about his personal expenditure, while conveniently ignoring the money he's received from sales of our most important players. He can just shake his 'wise old head" and say, "it would be irresponsible to spend given our future financial downturn"!

And what's the reason for our 'future financial downturn'? Lerner's inept financial management!

If we do end up going down then I hope when Lerner does eventually sell it costs him. I'll not forgive him for his 'custodianship' of the club and the current white flag he and the board have raised. Unforgivable and inexcusable.

I don't think he'll give up easily, I genuinely think he'll want to stick around for us to come back up so he can get the best possible sales price.
