Unfortunately I don't think that he realises that he's now perceived as a "weak" manager. He can't keep just blaming the players. It's a shared weakness and therefore a shared problem.

It's on the official site so it would indicate that there might be some foundation for his positivity. Surely they wouldn't shoot themselves in the foot by offering a hope of change, and then just playing the same team and getting thrashed again?

I'd like to think we'll see a positive team selection. I'd like to see us upset the odds and grab a shock win.

But in my heart of hearts I know we're going to see the same old shite we see every game and a 5-0 defeat.

You would think we've got to win at some stage, whether it be a massive piece of luck, or the opposition gets three sent off at once etc. I don't expect it to happen today though!

I was sat there at about 70 minutes thinking I'd rather be in the pub and that if I'd wanted to see a ritual stoning of someone I'd rather not see get stoned than a football match I should have gone to the middle east rather than Aston.
