Green has some talent, and his desire shames most of the old hands in the current team. Another match has gone with the same general lack of interest and belief, and exactly the same silly defensive errors.

When will Garde learn. We have not won once this season with Hutton in the team. I don't care how much effort he puts in going forward, he is culpable for so many of our defeats by being way out of position when the opposition scores using his undefended area of responsibility. Managers have such an easy job against Villa. All they have to say to their left midfielders is "be patient, Hutton will vacate his right back position so many times that you can use that unmarked space to pick your best opportunity to score without pushing it at all". Dele Alli did that yesterday and fed Kane with the greatest of ease. Have a look at the video of the goals if you can bring yourselves to!

Garde is learning nothing week on week, and it's totally unacceptable.
