I park at the school on the south side of Aston Hall Park. There is a feeling of anticipation as I walk through the park. The beautifully manicured flower beds and the grandeur of the jacobean Aston Hall, give way to my first glimpse of the majesty of Villa Park. What a sight, what a stadium! It never ceases to move me and I've been experiencing it for almost fifty years.

Nice VB. When I was there the other night, walking up the stairs from the gantry, I still got butterflies as I caught sight of the green grass for the first time and the backdrop of the Holte End, it never fails to grab me!! Love it. It's a grand old stadium isn't it?!

I think I like the 'grand old club' feel about us (which is why I have a soft spot for Everton), I like the colours, I like our importance in the history of the game, and I think we easily have the best name in the game.

I don't think it's been mentioned but I also love our away support (of which I try to be a part of as often as I can, sadly not as much as I like lately) - I really think we're as good as anyone in that area.
