I actually have a lot of time for Newcastle and their support but some of them don't half take themselves too seriously. It's just another game to me though beating the best side in the league might be the boost our players need.

I'm going to reserve judgement until about 7:30pm Saturday. We don't know which Villa will take to the pitch. Will it be the attacking one, or the negative one? We shall see.

We said at the start of the season that the best team in this league would be Newcastle, so it would be no surprise if they beat us. The problem is that due to poor results the fan's collective temperature is rising. I guess a draw would do, but a loss is going to go down like a lead balloon.

We should be able to lose to the 'best' team in the league without recriminations, but the manager and players have gradually squandered the good will that they started out with.

I hope we win as that would stave off further negativity, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

RDM has to be bold .... it's the only way to fire up our new guys. We cannot ask them to abandon what they do best and park the bus for a clean sheet. Boldness carries risks, but we have players who need to play on the front foot.

I suppose with the players at our disposal we have to go hell for leather and try to score as many goals as possible. Our squad is so unbalanced in that regard.
