After an extended break we have another game in midweek against Brentford.

Can our new signings lift us enough to get a win against a team that have one win in their last six in the league? Will Westwood inexplicably continue his reign of terror? Have your say.

If Ashley westward starts this game for Villa I'm personally writing a letter to BBC Panorama, informing them of suspected indescretions within the shower facilities of Bodymoor Heath & Villa park that involve a senior player and as many as five Aston Villa managers. Should James Bree not start this match,  the allegations will involve two senior Aston Villa players!! I'm not going to use the words 'like' or 'rate' but am I the only person here who doesn't mind Hutton? There are far worse players in our setup and whilst he isn't very good he always tries hard which was something you could say for very few players in our setup in recent years.

That said, I'd much rather see Bree in the team on Tuesday evening.

I'm also saying a win, 2-0, I think.

In Fairness Sandie, Nobody can fault Hutton's general attitude, it has been far better than most of the players in the squad over the last few years. My issue has been in the fact that he hoovers up so much of our attacking play and it renders so many of our attacks futile. In fact there have been many matches where opposition teams have targeted this and given us loads of space on their left side knowing that any attack that we would get from this side would always fizzle out to nothing. Also there have been many occasions where his indiscipline in picking up his man or getting back into the correct position have led to opposition goals.

I think from the defensive side, the same could be said of Amavi this season who has been out of position or giving away possession in very dangerous areas, he's decent going forward, but I think a if you're playing fullback, defending should come first and then attacking should be a bonus, not the other way round!!! For this reason I wouldn't be opposed to Neil Taylor replacing Amavi, which would allow for Bree to be move cavalier going forward.

Amavi is quality but he does give the ball to the opposition a fair bit. That may be down to midfielders not making space to receive the ball. That should change now.

Our players have shocking movement off the ball which makes every pass more difficult.

What is wrong with us,it seems that the pressure of playing for Villa just seems to get to anyone who puts on a villa shirt, not playing as a team at all!
