I'm divided over to listen to my heart and say this will be the win that will turn us around for a strong finish to the season or weigh up the actual evidence and say it will be a 2-1 defeat. Maybe I should split the difference and say a disappointing draw? I'll need time to think...

What doesn't need time to be weighed up is the answer to the other questions. Absolutely no back five!

They can stick this one up their rusty sheriff's badge. My season card will be unused this Tuesday.

If I go to this I will no doubt freeze my nuts off while being bored shitless, a bit like Saturday, in fact.

If I go, I get to spend less time than usual with my elderly mother.

If I go, I won't see a fat lot of my wife.

If I go, I will see even less of my little boy.

It's all very well clubs wanting loyalty from fans but they really have to give us some thing back. A bit more than a powder-puff attack would be a good start.

You've said it all Chris. Supporting Villa is all one way at the moment. It's up to the management and the players to give something back.

We deprived Barnsley of their two best players during the transfer window and they still thumped us! Every manager in the Championship seems to have figured Villa out, except the one who's job it is to do so .... Bruce!
