A massive show of intent from Villa you're right VB, to get as many good deals over the line taht we have this January just shows the clout of Villa. With the squad we have there is no reason why we shouldn't be top point scorers for the rest of the season. On paper we have the best championship squad, over to Bruce and the players now to find a way to gel and quickly!!! UTV

Can you remember how frustrating and boring transfer deadline day had become towards the end of Randy Lerner's regime? Thanks to Dr Tony I'm all a quiver now .... Ooo'err missus!

Sky have just said that Westwood has completed his medical at Burnley. This is the first time I've been happy that he's fit! Transfer speculation 2016/17 - Page 45 3640643743

Well the window's closed and still no confirmation of Hogan signing. I wonder what the hold up was or is? We clearly need him after another shot shy performance tonight, so let's hope we've got it sorted.

It's just been announced on the AVFC Official site that Scott Hogan has signed and is now a Villa player. I'm off to bed relieved with the signing, but furious with the shower of sh*te that was served up tonight.

McCormack has joined Forest on loan, Ayew has signed for Swansea and we add Taylor and Hogan to our new arrivals. Now we have to forget about the transfer window and get on with the huge job of turning fourteen players into a unit.

Calderwood has presided over a decline in our play since he took over training, and this has to be stopped and turned around. The negative away "tactics" have to be dropped and replaced with a high tempo pressing game that should suit our new players.

Bruce needs to get back to basics and make sure that we learn to play as a team with all the energy, movement and support that is required to do that. Most other Championship teams already do this regardless of the individual ability of there players.

Dr T has done his part, now Bruce and Calderwood have to do theirs.

Samba smacks of desperation! He might be a big unit but he'll be further off the pace than Elphick at the moment.
