Rightly so for me.
Agreed, stupid. Lescott will get a little more grace I feel as Guzan had his knockers anyway.
We've been bright this half, problem is we look like a side that hasn't won in ages, we don't take chances, we don't get men in the box. I think that is the set mentality at the club, it's been like that with so many managers now going right back to Houllier. It always baffles me how a team can carry the same identity regardless of manager, how is it so?! Is it dictated to by players who aren't good enough to impress themselves on a game and earn the right to play that way? Part of me thinks that's what it is.
I said under the first season of Lambert, "you keep buying Championship quality players, you eventually end up there" I think that's it, we're just not quite good enough to get comfortable in a game to build on anything.
Literally do or die second half. I don't even think the manager saying "throw the kitchen sink at it" will help this lot, it's just not in the fabric of the club anymore. We really do need to rip it all up and start again and if that's in the Championship, so be it........I'm resigned to it. Let's just keep TRYING and show, commitment and a will to fight and scrap.
The Villa we know and love is gone for now. We've been here before and come back stronger though and we will again UTV

Delighted and overjoyed. I'm instantly back to 'can we possibly just do it?!' I'll not give up total hope until it's mathematically done and dusted, so come on let's go and burst Leicester's bubble, they started all this (well they didn't but you know what I mean)
Come on Villa. We spend hours and hours berating the bad, let's just let the joy of this sink in. 2 points gained on Newcastle (so that's 9 and three games) and let's see how results go tomorrow. Whatever, that's a GREAT 3 points UTV!
Thought they all did really well. Kozak run his socks off, really surprised he lasted 90+ mins and for me offers a lot more than Gestede. Ayew again our talisman. Gana Veretout worked hard, as did Gil (they all did) and the back four stayed solid. Having a keeper who talks makes a difference.....Woohoo!!!

I'm off for a good night's sleep and sweet Villa dreams for a change. Night all.
