Lescotts legs have gone and we're better with Clark at CB. 3 DM's DOES NOT WORK. 4 points in 27 is more than just a team trying to gel, it comes back to poor management and the bottom 3 speaks loudest of all.

3-2 makes it look like a close old battle, in truth we've been dire. Worrying times (again) for us villa fans.

Sherwood 3 Villa 2.

That first hour killed any chance we had of getting anything from this match. Until our gutless manager knew we'd lost the match he didn't allow our players to play positive football.

What the hell has Ayew done since Tuesday? Did he p*ss on the manager's cornflakes.

Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool didn't beat Villa today .... Sherwood did.

Liverpool had such fragile confidence and were really nervous at the back. Why did it take us over an hour to put them under any pressure? We deliberately refused to attempt to break an already cracked egg. Inexcusable tactics.

I think we've seen enough idiocy from Sherwood this season to know that it won't be a relegation battle this time .... It'll be a certainty.

I've lost count, they all roll into one horrible long one for me. 4 points from 27 as bad as ANY time under PL. I feared it last season and I worry about it again now. Tim was the right man to come in and inject a bit of personality to cling to safety, he's no builder of clubs though, no tactician. He's a good assistant at best. God I hope I'm wrong as Allardyce seems appealing right now. He's shown he can do it, look at the job he did at West Ham, they're no better now or any closer to playing the magical 'West Ham Way' does it even exist? Anyway I digress. Just as we were under Lambert we're being headlocked by poor tactics. This is Lambert Mark II Tim Lambert if you will.

Pissed off yet again on another weekend of football. Bottom 3 and a points tally that points towards relegation if you go off the 4 in 27 stat. He's got to be told to buck up and start getting results. He's starting to fall into 'Rabbit in headlights' category now.

I'm dismayed at quite what he is thinking and I think the players are too.

Sadly I don't think he knows enough about managing a team to change what he's currently doing. It will be guesswork at best, because it's a new experience for him.
