Big week ahead, how many will we get in? Dr X has said that he hopes to get  2  from 5 deals ongoing, done. If we have two signings to make who would everyones 2 signings be?

Ayew needs to learn when to release the ball. If he can become more of a team player he could become one of the best players in the league in my opinion.

Agree regarding Ayew, Ivan, he infuriates me, the way he holds onto the ball for far too long and slows play down too much, having said that if he can mix his play up a bit he has all the ability to be a very good player.

Aye, Ayew can be quite greedy with the ball and it effects his decision making. I'd not be devastated if he left but it would mean that we would need to bring in two strikers. Have to admit, I don't know much about Bamford but I think considering the hype about our exciting new #9 I'd be disappointed if we signed him. Danny Ings is a good shout from left field.

Bamford for me as he must be so desperate to prove himself at a big club.

Bamford makes sense as he's got a really good left foot. Hernandez is probably the better line leader and a more old fashioned front man.

World class? That's not Bamford, IMO. Or Ings. This one could be exciting. Or a huge disappointment.

I'm just sat here trying to figure this one out. A "world class striker" would be great .... but .... surely we need a world class supplier for the three forwards we've already got.

It's got me wondering though .... I hope Dr T's idea of a world class striker is the same as mine.

Some people view world class as being a player who would get into the squad of a World XI. We're not going to see that kind of player unless it is a name who is a long way into their decline. They would just simply not want to play in the Championship. However, there's a huge difference between that type of player and, say, Lambert or Bamford. I'd be happy with someone in the gap between, though.

Good player, but why would Hull want to sell him? I did hear that the owner was short of cash .... I wonder?

As far as I'm aware the club is for sale. I'm not sure whether they are close to a deal or otherwise but what is clear is that they've been unable to do any transfer business. I think if it is Hernandez he will only end up coming if the player himself wants the move. Whether he does that depends on his feeling at Hull. Is he unhappy about the way the club is being ran or is he happy there due to the tremendous team spirit that seems to be behind their strong start.
