Twitter seems to have put 2 and 2 together and decided that Jackson Martinez is the striker. This seems to come from him playing in China, being unhappy there and us being owned by someone from China.

Yes, wondering if we should now be looking for a couple of new strikers considering how much of our play is based on our attacking triumvirate and the unsuitability of Kozak and Agbonlahor for any involvement.

Dr Tony has ruled out Dost, He said its pace not height that wee need, brace yourself for more linked names tomorrow just for tony to shoot em down!!! News on the fullback potentially tomorrow as he as the deal has been described as being close!!

Gunter was the original link for right back but that's gone very, very quiet. More recent links have revolved around De Laet, Tripier and Yedlin. I think each of those four speculative names would be an improvement on Hutton, Bacuna or Richards with them running from being steady (like De Laet) to being very, very good players (Tripier).

Yes, you don't need to be some skillfully, pacy flair-filled striker to get goals at this level.

Sadly he was so far off the pace as to be a handicap. Nice guy but I agree Ivan, that should be his last game for Villa.
