Dr T's on the money here. We lack pace. Without Traore and even Gabby or Sinclair, we have no one who can run past people apart from a couple of kids. Ayew is quick enough without being electric, but he's being used in a deeper wider role at the moment.

I still think we're after Hernandez.

I know Dr T poured cold water on the speculation a couple of weeks ago when he said Hernandez did not have a release clause and Hull didn't have a manager, but he didn't say no did he!

With rumours today that Hull are interested in Micah Richards, maybe something"s happening behind the scenes. Hull could definitely use 15 million!

Hernandez is known as a pacy striker .... he's a current Uruguay international .... he fit's the criteria.

Yedlin would be my Right Back choice because I don't think Trippier is available. Yedlin's unbelievable pace would add to our fairly pedestrian average.

So it's Yedlin and Hernandez to come in and add pace and threat!

Ps : Then we only need to persuade Traore to change his mind and give us 100%, and we'll be flying. cheers

I saw this just now. It appears that Ings is still not fully ready after his ACL injury.

Hernandez would be a great fit IMO. We lack the all rounder up front, Still a bit worried about our supply line to the strikers.

Bas Dost certainly looks like a great finisher Ivan, I can see why you rate him.

De Laet makes sense .... he has pace (not as quick as Yedlin though), he's 6ft 1ins, and he has tons of experience built on a Man Utd youth base. He's a definite upgrade on Hutton and Richards.

He would have added excitement Jim, but we've gone for experience which isn't a bad thing.
