De lait is a good solid signing. He was very impressive against us last year when Leicester beat us. Has experience needed should hit the ground running.

We needed a right back and we got one. Welcome aboard Ritchie! From what I've heard he's another attacking fullback though hopefully his greater pace will make him more useful than Hutton.

Now, where's this #9?

Good signing De Lait, will give us fresh impetus from the wide areas. Better offensively than he can be defensively in my opinion (many Boro fans are saying the same) A good addition though...

What do we think for our No9 Dr X has really hyped this one.....can we really expect a 'World Class' striker in the Championship? Something lost in translation? Heard and seen a link to Balotelli (only Twitter chatter though)

Hernandez a non starter according to Pat Murphy, as are Bamford, Wells and Diawara .... Pat seems to be back in favour with Villa, so he may well be right.

Hernandez has been managing a hernia problem for a couple of months and may need an operation.

The name Mariano was just mentioned to me on Twitter?! Real Madrid player, more speculative than anything though I think?! Falcao is another name.....surely not?!

I've just done a quick bit of research on Mariano and he's a B team player. He's also only played once for his international team (Dominican Republic) and that was three years ago. Apart from the cryptic "Real" he definitely doesn't qualify.

Considering Bamford failed to come off in two loan spells at PL clubs last season you can't fault his ambition.

Whatever happened to him? I remember Spurs fans were joking about Dim being obsessed with him when he was manager there but he has had a limited role since.

The transfer window closes in just seven days time. We've been told we're after a top striker, but will there be any other signings, loans perhaps? Have we got enough suppliers and assisters in our team?

We've now signed eight players this summer, and they should all be automatic first team players, so with a ninth player in our sights is that more than enough to get the job done?

We have to be careful that we can utilise all our best players in their most effective positions, which slightly worries me as one or two of our players may be forced to become utility players. Has RDM got the balance right?

Have to admit i dont have that much confidence in RDM but i do have a lot of good to say of steve clark. Between them they will find the right way for our team to attack this league. Deffo would of bought Dwight Gayle though.
