Bruce has said there is no change to our injury situation. Adomah is now fully fit so might be pushing for a start but other than that and some possible further rotation to the front three or four it looks like we will have an unchanged side.

Agbonlahor wants to be involved .... He really hasn't got a clue about the damage he did to us with his prolonged bad behaviour, has he?

Considering that Ayew, Kodjia, Gestede, McCormack and Adomah will all be in front of him there's hopefully no chance of that hasbeen bad egg featuring.

I'll be very disappointed if that waste of space is involved at all.

When the club needed "Mr Aston Villa", our all time Premier League record goal scorer, when we looked to him to fire our frontline, he went missing.

His sole contribution last season was his goal against Norwich. One that was "for the haters" on social media. It seemingly never occurred to the thick twat that "there's a dozen for the haters" would have had more style to it, been a far better "for the haters" and could have given us a chance of undeservedly getting out of trouble.

So, if you're considering his inclusion Mr Bruce, then no thankyou.

I can't believe that posters on here are unique in their dislike (putting it mildly) for this person. The vast majority of Villa fans would surely be angry to see Agbonlahor playing for Villa again, as though he hadn't deliberately sabotaged our Premier League existence.

I know there were other serious long term (Lerner and management) contributing factors, but the last nail in the Villa coffin was hammered in by this fool and a few of his senior colleagues, who between them decided after he was made club captain that they would not bother to train properly any more. It's well documented that he and a few other senior players worked against the management at BMH so that in the end the coaches had to ask them on a daily basis what amount of training they were prepared to do. That led to a low fitness level and rock bottom expectations, which contributed massively to our relegation because of their totally unprofessional and unacceptable attitudes.

This "clean slate" thing is fine for some of the younger "followers" in our squad, but must not apply to players whose unforgivable behaviour disqualifies them from putting on a claret and blue shirt again.

There are a surprising number of people out there on social media still supporting Gabby. That said, I'm surprised anyone can still support him after his form and behaviour over a sustained period. We have so many better players at our disposal it is mind-boggling that a not very good player that blew his chance is even thinking he should be considered.

His bad behaviour and total lack of fitness was not accidental it was deliberate. The club have treated him far better than his behaviour deserves imo. Even if things became desperate through a huge injury list, I would rather play a junior player than Agbonlahor.

Other reports are saying he's still not fit in spite of "travelling" with the squad.

Today's the day!

This could be another step in the right direction, what it must not be is a step back. I'm hoping for a win, while a draw would be acceptable.

Gabby should not even be visible at the game, because he could be a distraction.

UP THE VILLA!!!!!!

We've just had two back to back wins with Westwood dropped to the bench. Now he starts .... Why?

Hutton, Westwood and Gabby on the bench! I hope Bruce has thought this through.

A manager lives and dies by his selections .... I'm trusting Steve Bruce to get this right today. That Lot V Aston Villa: Sunday 30th October 12:00 - Page 2 205019816

It's the Westwood thing that concerns me. What has Tshibola done to have been so far out of favour so far?
